This is absolutely the best cooling you will find for a Samurai. Aluminum radiators are well known to dissipate engine heat better than any other design. This radiator design is also used in racing applications for it's durability and cooling, it also holds more water than a standard 3 core Suzuki radiator.
We have searched long and hard for a company to mass produce a quality radiator for the Samurai. Though still made overseas the quality of this new radiator puts all other mass produced units to shame.
The quality of this unit can easily be seen in the pictures, the inlet and outlet nozzles, mounting points are all made of heavier material. The fill nozzle is an acutal machined part not stamped metal.
These radiators have permanently installed mounting nuts, like the factory radiator. This radiator will require minor bracket modifications to install into your vehicle.
This new radiator is designed to fit with the early style fan shroud; if you have a plastic tank radiator ( 88.5+) you will need to use the early style shroud. Also, if your car is equipped with A/C, then minor modifications will be needed.
Petroworks also stocks early shrouds if needed.
Includes a new Radiator cap
No core return required.

fits right in and my 1.6 (no fan shroud) temp needle just stays on the bottom of operating range when driving vs higher than the middle before.

Looks like it is a good product but have not been able to leak test it yet. There are a few sloppy looking welds but all in all looks good.
